WHY WE SERVE
We operate this food bank because Jesus Christ told us to feed the hungry. When Jesus Christ fed the 5,000 people He did not care who they were, how they dressed, where they lived, what color they were or what language they spoke. He told His disciples to feed the people because they were hungry.
HISTORY
The Columbia Food Bank, which is located at St. Paulís Episcopal Church, 340 Locust St., Columbia, has been providing food and other relevant assistance to clients as an outreach of the church for approximately 25 years. The food bankís success is due to donations of food and finances from the community, as well as support from dedicated volunteers.
